Hedges, stone walls beautiful lush countryside & colourful gardens

We visited the Wicklow reserve walking through the bush, beside a lake, through Monastic ruins and an old cemetery. Very picturesque .
Powerscourt golf course ( now owned by the Slazenger family ) , Mark and Martin played a round of golf. Golf cart, loads of balls and a few laughs . The greens were spectacular – International course. Martin used to be the chef there so it was all about who you know . 55,000 Euro joining fee and 1200 Euro yearly subscription! Photos of the fairway and the rough, where Mark played !
Powerscourt gardens – one of the best in Europe and I can see why. Japanese garden, rose garden and much much more .( photos )
