Sitting up high looking out to the Park.
Getting on the Hauda (Howdah)
The stick used to hit the elephant on the head when he didn't obey commands and when he trumpeted when he saw the stag I spotted.
Drinking water as we cross the river .
In the afternoon we had the most amazing elephant ride through the Chitwan national park spotting wild animals as we went. What an incredible experience. We crossed the river twice and went into the jungle to see a baby one horned rhino and its mother, samba deer and red spotted deer, a stag and wild chickens! Alas no Bengal tigers which the park is renowned for or leopards . On our walk in the morning we also spotted deer and wild bore.
